Sarah_3_I

I noticed that in chapter 3, the title says it all: Stories can do more than facts. What interested me most was that this chapter contains 33 pages of stories, but each one illustrates the same simple fact that facts are not as powerful as stories. Talk about leading by example.

I do agree that stories enhance facts. However, stories are nothing without facts.

Stories have a "punch line" or a main idea that is communicated. This main idea or punch line in the story is the fact.

I think facts are the baseline for all stories and a fact is more important than the story itself.

I think we've all come to realize the bit of irony that we're learning to hate facts through stories when that's exactly her point.

I think someone should write a book on stories and tell them through facts...or something like that.
